KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Malaysia's health ministry has confirmed three swine flu-related deaths, the highest number so far in a single day.

This raises the country's total deaths related to the virus to 11.

A ministry statement says a 3-year-old girl, 12-year-old boy and 20-year-old man died of pneumonia at a hospital in southern Malacca state Monday.

The statement said Wednesday that all three tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

Malaysia has reported 1,476 swine flu cases since May.
